About My Classroom:
I am a firm believer that my role as a teacher is to empower students to learn how to take control of their own educational outcomes. Learning is a lifelong endeavor, and as an educator it is my job to prepare kids to apply the literacy skills that they gain at Polaris in their own lives. I believe in choice and that students deserve to have access to high quality teaching techniques and materials. I work diligently to give them hands-on learning opportunities that mimic what they will encounter outside of the classroom. I also want kids to love being in my classroom, so I work even harder to build relationships with every student I teach.
