Rubrics

A rubric is a tool that outlines success criteria for an assignment or project, typically broken into multiple learning targets. It helps students track their progress and understand next steps. Students keep the rubric handy for reference, while teachers use it to give feedback. Sometimes, students contribute to creating rubrics by analyzing strong and weak examples to help them better understand what quality work looks like.
