School of Choice

Polaris is a public choice school in Poudre School District. Students must apply through the School of Choice online application.  The first-round School Choice application for the 2025-2026 school year closed on December 16, 2024.  The second-round School Choice application for the 2025-2026 year will open at 8:00 a.m. on January 16, 2025. 

Priority Order for Enrollment:

  1. Students in the neighborhood of the school they wish to attend.
  2. District students continuing enrollment in a current choice school or program that spans grade levels.
  3. District residents who are siblings of currently enrolled students at the same residence.
  4. District residents whose parent/guardian works at the school.
  5. New District applicants without siblings or parent employment at the school.
  6. Out-of-District students continuing in the same school or program.
  7. Out-of-District siblings of current students at the same residence.
  8. Out-of-District students whose parent/guardian works at the school.
  9. Out-of-District applicants without siblings or parent employment at the school.
