We Are Crew, Not Passengers!

Celebration of Learning

Celebration of Learning is a public presentation of students’ work.  This event occurs once a year at the secondary level and twice a year at the elementary level.  We find it important to give students and authentic audience for their work, outside of the classroom walls. Parents and guests come to the school and students teach about their learning. Students show what they have accomplished in classes, expeditions, and intensives.

At the elementary level, these celebrations are thematic in nature and show work and study from the Crew’s prior Expedition.

At the secondary level, students volunteer to show specific projects and work they are proud of.  Students really enjoy getting to show off what they have learned in a creative way.  These events are truly a celebration!
