Polaris Community

Students on the Ruby Horsethief Canoeing intensive taking a photo before their trip.Polaris has highly involved parents, with one of the most active volunteer communities in the district. Our K-12 parent organization supports staff through fundraising and event organization.

Parents assist with adventure trips, fieldwork, and secondary Intensives, which offer a week of exploration in topics like computers, music, art, and adventure. We welcome parent involvement for driving, chaperoning, and sharing expertise.

Fieldwork Days
One-day outings allow students to apply classroom learning in the community, with parent support for organizing and transportation.

Adventure Trips
These longer trips outside of Fort Collins help learning, and parents help by chaperoning and providing transportation.
