My name is Laura Moulder and I am ecstatic to be joining the Penguin Crew at Polaris this fall! I am a Colorado native who grew up right here in Fort Collins. I graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2011 with degrees in teaching and psychology. Expeditionary Learning has always been at the forefront of my teaching experience. My journey began teaching at an EL school in Utah for two years, then moving to Boise, Idaho where I taught for five years. Now that I have relocated back to Fort Collins, it is a dream come true to continue my love for EL by teaching at Polaris. When I am not teaching, you might find me doing something crafty like sewing or messing around with my Cricut. I also enjoy spending time outdoors at my family’s cabin in North Park, Colorado and am always content spending time with family, friends and my chiweenie Buddy. I look forward to the new adventure of teaching 6th grade this year!
