There was never an "aha moment" for me when I decided what I wanted to be when I grew up. I just always knew that I would work with children, it's in my DNA! My gift!
The most rewarding part of my job is: the one on one connection I get to make with the kids and to develop a relationship based on mutual trust and respect. I love to help build on their strengths and to support them to overcome their weaknesses!
My post secondary education was in Early Childhood Development. I have worked for PSD for 7 years as a paraprofessional and special ed support.
My interests have been my family. My husband Randy and I have four beautiful daughters that I was blessed to be a "stay-at-home mom" with. I love volleyball, hiking, baking, reading, being a spectator at my kid's events and LOVE any beach, anywhere at anytime!
"A day without kids is like a day without sunshine!' And that's all she wrote.
