About Me

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?: 

My favorite part of teaching at Polaris is fieldwork and Intensives! I love to spend time with my students outside of the classroom -- we get to know each other in a whole new way.

General background information (years in education, degree(s), Universities/Colleges attended): 

I earned an Elementary Education degree from University of Northern Colorado, and I'm currently pursuing a Masters of Science Education at UNC as well.

Interests/Hobbies: 

Snowboarding, running, hiking, biking, walks by the river, frisbee in the park.

Courses Taught: 

6th Grade Math and Science

6th-8th Grade Crew
